Shonna Ta Hollinger

Shonna Ta’Nae Hollinger was born to the late La’Trece  Hollinger-Ruth and Kenneth Brogsdale on August 3, 1991. She departed this earthly life on November 10, 2024. 
Shonna received her education in the Newark and Plainfield school systems, graduating from East Side High School.

Shonna was a sweet and loving person. She had a great sense of humor and always brought laughter to everyone around her. Shonna had a talent for doing hair and makeup and wasn’t afraid of trying new things. She also loved to cook and feed those around her. She loved her family deeply. Shonna had a big heart and always wanted to help whomever she could.

Shonna leaves to cherish her memory: son Halo Da’Yvon Hollinger; grandmother Denise Hollinger; siblings Cereniti Ford, Na’Sijisha Brogsdale, Azim Brogsdale; aunts Shantell Hollinger-Moore and Nicole Reid; uncles Sharif Rodney and Shawn Reid; niece Na’Shay Lang; first cousins Tahjmere Moore (Wilma), Markiyah Moore, Zaid Moore, Shawn Reid Jr, Lamar Jenkins Jr, Ijhanay Reid, and Jasin Campbell; godson Abdul Jackson, and a host of extended family and friends.
